Overview
Mononucleosis is an infectious disease, it is also referred to as kissing disease. Virus that causes mono can be transmitted through saliva; it means anyone can get it through kissing. Virus can spread by means of cough or sneeze, or by sharing a glass or food utensil with someone who has the virus.
