Medically, constipation (hardening of stool) implies difficulty or failure to evacuate toxins and waste matter from the body on a regular basis. Constipation is a common disturbance of the digestive tract. Bowels do not move regularly, or are not completely emptied when they move. This produces toxins which find their way into the bloodstream and are carried to all parts of the body.
