Ingredients:

Rajma soaked, cooked and drained   1/2 cup
Chopped amaranth leaves   3 cups
Jeera seeds   1/2 tsp
Green chillies, chopped   2-3
Chopped ginger   1 tsp
Chopped garlic   1 tsp
Chopped onions   1/2 cup
Turmeric powder   1/4 tsp
Milk   1/4 cup
Cornflour   2 tsp
Oil   1/2 tsp
Salt   To taste
 

Method:

  • Heat the oil in a pan and add jeera seeds. When they crackle, add the green chillies, ginger, garlic and onions and saute for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Add the amaranth leaves, rajma, turmeric powder and salt and bring to a boil.
  • Mix the milk and cornflour together.
  • Add the cornflour-milk mixture and simmer for another 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
