Ingredients:

Cottage cheese(Paneer)   100 g
Milk   30 ml
Sugar   30 g
Egg   1
Butter for greasing only
Cashew nuts (Kaju)   4
Vanilla essence few drops
Cherries a few
 

Method:

  • Knead the paneer with milk to get a paste.
  • Separate egg yolk from white. Add sugar to yolk and mix well.
  • Mix this mixture into the kneaded paneer.
  • Beat egg white and add to above mixture.
  • Add chopped nuts and vanilla essence and mix properly.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased mould, cover and steam in boiling water for half an hour.
  • Let it cool down, un-mould and serve garnished with cream and cherries.
