Maida |

Method: |
- Sieve the flour and add salt and sugar.
- Rub in the butter well.
- Mix baking powder with curd.
- Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture and put the curds in it. Mix well.
- Make soft dough with milk and use a little water if required.
- Knead well for 5 minutes.
- Add 1/2 tsp of melted fat and knead again.
- Keep the dough covered for 3 hours for it to rise.
- Mix aniseeds, khuskhas and kalonji.
- Divide the dough into 4 balls and shape into naans with fingers and palms of the hands.
- Stick the naans in a heated tandoor and cook till done.
